OathwoodOATHWOODPROPERTY GUIDE

PROPERTY β€’ REALTY β€’ MY OATHWOOD

Your property starts in Minecraft.

Oathwood has two property systems, and both use /property. OathwoodClaims uses it for the market controls of land you personally claimed. OathwoodRent uses it for the Towny landlord/property GUI. There is no /properties command. Both systems can connect eligible property to My Oathwood and Oathwood Realty.

πŸ“– Open the full /property systems Wiki guide
1Choose the right command

Owners use /property in both systems. Players browse personal-claim listings with /claimrent and Towny listings with /townrent.

β†’
2Server verifies it

Oathwood records the property, your UUID, role, status and the details the website is allowed to use.

β†’
3Sync My Oathwood

Run /website sync after a property changes so your portal can refresh from the server.

β†’
4List on Realty

If the server marks it as listable, My Oathwood shows the List on Realty button.

TWO PROPERTY SYSTEMS

One /property command, two systems

The command name is the same, but it is used with different kinds of land. The important part is whether you are managing a personal OathwoodClaims claim or Towny property through OathwoodRent.

πŸͺ

OATHWOODCLAIMS

/property

Use this when you are standing inside land you personally claimed with OathwoodClaims. It is for simple claimed land outside the Towny plot system.

Use it to: put your claim up for sale, offer it for rent, change the price or rental terms, or take it off the market.

Think: β€œThis is my claim.” β†’ /property   β€’   β€œI want to browse claim listings.” β†’ /claimrent
🏘️

TOWNY + OATHWOODRENT

/property

OathwoodRent also uses /property. For Towny land, it opens the landlord/property GUI for your town and its eligible plots.

Use it to: manage Towny property as a landlord. If you are renting or buying as a player, use /townrent.

Think: β€œI manage Towny property.” β†’ /property   β€’   β€œI want to rent/buy Towny land.” β†’ /townrent
Quick rule: There is no /properties command. Both OathwoodClaims and OathwoodRent use /property; the difference is what land/system you are managing. Both systems can feed eligible listings into My Oathwood β†’ Realty after your account is linked and the property is synced.

TOWNY + OATHWOODRENT

Using /property with OathwoodRent

This side of the system is for Towny property β€” normally the familiar 16Γ—16 plots inside a town. /property opens the landlord/property GUI; /townrent is the renter-facing marketplace.

🏑

Manage Towny property

Type /property to open the OathwoodRent landlord/property GUI for your town. These are Towny plots, not personal OathwoodClaims claims.

πŸ”Ž

Check the 16Γ—16 plot

Confirm the Towny plot you expect to manage is the correct one and that you have the proper ownership or management role for it.

πŸ”„

Refresh the website

After buying, renting, selling, changing or configuring property, run /website sync. My Oathwood can then request the newest server record.

Important: the website does not grant Minecraft ownership. If something is wrong in My Oathwood, correct or verify it in-game first, then sync again.

OATHWOOD REALTY

Turning a property into a listing

You do not manually type a random plot into Realty. The portal only offers the listing button for properties returned for your verified Minecraft UUID and marked as eligible by the server.

  1. 01
    Link your character

Sign into My Oathwood and link your Minecraft character if you have not already.

  2. 02
    Sync after the property exists

Use /website sync in Minecraft. Your verified properties will appear under My Properties.

  3. 03
    Choose β€œList on Realty”

Eligible properties get the button automatically. If there is no button, the server has not marked that property as listable for your character.

  4. 04
    Finish the listing

Add a title, description, sale/rent choice, prices and photos. Publishing creates the public Realty listing; it does not change who owns the land in Minecraft.

  5. 05
    Keep it accurate

When the property changes in-game, sync again. In My Listings you can also mark an active listing sold, rented or withdrawn.

OATHWOODCLAIMS 1.3.2

Using /property for claimed land

This is the non-Towny side of Oathwood property. Stand inside land you personally claimed with OathwoodClaims, then manage its sale or rental from there.

πŸͺ

Own the claim

Create and manage the protected land with OathwoodClaims. You must be standing inside a claim you own.

🏷️

Use /property

Open the property controls to configure rental terms, a sale price, or remove the claim from the market.

πŸ”Ž

Browse with /claimrent

Players looking for personal-claim rentals or properties for sale use /claimrent instead of the old shared /rent command.

🌐

Sync to Realty

When OathwoodWebAPI is connected, the claim's market state can be sent to My Oathwood and Oathwood Realty automatically.

Useful commands: /property rent <price> <days>, /property rent off, /property sale <price>, and /property sale off.
